Through your generous donations to The Salvation Army of Oneonta, NY we have had the opportunity to touch the lives of those in need; families struggling to put bread on the table and keep a roof over their heads. Some of the services we provide include rental and utility assistance, food, clothing, personal care items, transportation and furniture. We seek to enable growth and self-sufficiency for those who need our assistance. It gives us great joy to express our appreciation to your for your support.

Community Fellowship

All Sunday activities of worship and breaking bread are open to all ages and families within our community.

Music Programs

Open to school aged children (1st-12th grades) who attend church weekly. They have the opportunity to learn a brass instrument, piano, or drums, as well as music theory. They will participate in singing, band, timbrels, dance, and drama.

Prayer Meeting/Bible Study

Open to adults ages 18+. A time to come together to pray for our community, our church, family, receive encouragement and pray for whatever is on your heart. / A weekly group that meets to study various books in the bible.

Women's and Men's Ministries

Open to adults ages 18+. These groups meet together to encourage one another, learn about the community and various historical events, take trips, attend retreats, etc.

Kid's Kingdom

An afterschool program for children in grades K-5th. Every Wednesday we offer character building activites varying from crafts, games, local field trips to the park (in warmer months), and movie day.

Corps Cadets

Open to Junior and Senior Soldiers (members of The Salvation Army Church), ages 13-18. This program allows one to develop their character and helps them understand and see that they are an integral part of the church & its mission.

Teen Group

Open to individuals in grades 7th-12th. This program includes a variety of activities; from reading a devotional and playing games, to cooking & baking, etc.
