Sheila came to us for food when she found herself out of work. She was able to find temporary work that allowed her to sustain herself for awhile but when the work ran out she came back to us for help with food. Often, the people we help just need to get through a short period of time to get back on their feet. She is so grateful when we help her. She is always saying, “When I get a good job, I am going to remember how the Salvation Army has helped me and my family. Maybe then I can return the favor.”
