Shop Our Christmas Giving Catalog on Giving Tuesday
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year’s #GivingTuesday will take place on November 27th and will kick off the giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.
This #GivingTuesday, The Salvation Army Empire State Division will celebrate giving with our Christmas Giving Catalog. Select a meaningful symbolic gift or give the gift in honor of a loved one and help local children and families in need receive food, clothing, and other care this holiday season. If you choose, a holiday note will be sent to your loved one, letting them know of your gift. Make a gift by December 17, and the note will be received in time for Christmas.
The great thing about giving to The Salvation Army is that all donations remain in the communities where they originate. That means you're not just helping someone, you're helping a family or child in your community. They may even live in your neighborhood or on your street.

At The Salvation Army we also know that not everyone can give financially. We encourage everyone to consider how best to give this Giving Tuesday but to give something. Consider signing up to ring the bell at our iconic red kettles, sign up to volunteer at one of our locations to serve a meal. Whatever it may be that you choose, know that by giving your time, talent or treasure to The Salvation Army, you're helping a neighbor in need.Tags: Christmas
